Prana is a Sanskrit word which denotes to the fundamental basic form of energy, from which all types of other energies arise. Though there are different kinds of energy, Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but only can be transformed from one form to another. PRANA is in Sanskrit, the Greek call it ‘Pneuma’, the Chinese call it ‘Chi’. Th e Japanese call it ‘Ki’, in Hebrew it is known as ‘Ruah’, in Arabic its called ‘Rooh’. All the ancient civilizations have recognised it. The ancient Indians did a lot of research on Prana and discovered its potency and learned to use it for the well being of all suffering multitude.
